The Keokuk School Board approved the use of grant funds to support a daycare study to determine the needs, capacity and possible solutions to address community concerns about child care that arose during school calendar discussions.
Community members discussed concerns of limited daycare options at previous school board meetings during a calendar workshop. A study has been started in the recent past, but it was not completed.
