Keokuk High School senior Blake Chase signed his letter of intent to play baseball at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington this week. Chase has played varsity baseball for Keokuk all four years of high school and was captain in 2024. He is ranked 19th in Iowa, 3rd in class 3A and first in our conference for his batting average, which was .491 in the 2023-2024 season. He has been awarded first team all-conference, first team all county, first team all area and first team all region individually. He primarily plays the shortstop position and will play one last season as a Chief this summer before heading off to play for SCC.
