KHS FFA advisor nominated for prestigious Golden Owl Award

The Agriculture program and Future Farmers of America chapter (FFA) have only been a part of Keokuk High School for one year, but so much has happened. A recent update is that Brady Martin, the Keokuk FFA advisor and KHS Agriculture program director, has been nominated for the prestigious Golden Owl Award in the Iowa FFA by a fellow FFA advisor in a neighboring regional chapter.

Nominees for the award must inspire and educate students about agriculture, develop innovative classroom experiences, encourage student leadership and career development and positively impact the school and community. The Golden Owl Award recognizes outstanding efforts each school year, according to the Iowa FFA. Previous winners may be nominated again if they continue to innovate and inspire.
