The KHS FFA Chapter hosted an Ag Day at the Keokuk Saddle Club for first grade students from Keokuk’s George Washington Elementary. Keokuk’s LCL Farms provided large agricultural equipment for students to tour and enjoy. The event had seven stations that the students rotated through.
Ag Day is a national day that Iowa celebrates and is an annual celebration recognizing the role of agriculture in society and acknowledges farmers and agricultural workers who contribute to “feeding and fueling the world.”
