The Keokuk High School hosted the 37th annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner with about 400 in attendance. The event was sponsored by the National Honor Society and district and was held at noon on Dec. 10 at the First Christian Church.
The salt free holiday dinner was prepared and served by students from the National Honor Society and Student Council, along side the Food Services staff. KHS band and and choir students provided the entertainment.
There was bus service provided by the school district’s Transportation Department to and from the church from multiple senior’s citizen housing locations in Keokuk.
