KHS iJag students recently had a blast at Mississippi Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center with their friends as they played games and watched “A Christmas Story.”
“We also had a hoot teaching the residents some of our current slang and learning some of theirs from their day,” Melissa Stevens, KHS iJag instructor, said. “We had quite a few laughs!”
The students were also able to shop for three children sponsored by the Angel Tree, thanks to the success of their Lollipop Fundraiser.
“This reminds us of what leadership really looks like — seeing a need, stepping up and making a difference for someone else,” Mrs. Stevens added. “It’s awesome to be able to give during this season.”
