Keokuk High School iJAG students from the ninth and tenth grades recently competed at the Skills Development Conference in Ankeny, Iowa, alongside 234 students from 79 different iJAG programs across Iowa.
Sophomore Kayleigh Happs presented in the Career Preparation competition and placed fifth overall, freshmen Bryce Daisy and Zach Nemecek teamed up and presented in the LOVE Project category and placed third place.
“I couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, confidence and success,” Melissa Stevens, KHS 9th/10th iJAG instructor, said.
Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) is a state-wide non-profit that partners with schools in Iowa to provide career development programming.
