George Washington Elementary partnered with the Keokuk High School Industrial Tech Club, taught by Katie Geltz, for a project this week to have the teenagers gain experience by shortening the basketball hoops for the Little Chiefs!
The KHS students shortened one pole by two feet and the other by four feet and then welded each back together to make it easier for the younger elementary students to play basketball.
