KHS student artwork on display in public exhibit

During the holiday break, the Keokuk High School Art Department invites the community to enjoy artwork created by eight students that is on display at Heartland Pathways, 1626 Morgan Street, in Keokuk.

The display is part of an effort to share the students’ creative work with the public and promote their talent. The mission of the exhibit is to offer students the opportunity to find and cultivate their own personal creative practice.

The artwork on display include graphite and colored pencil drawings, gouache-painting and printmaking, and advanced pieces in acrylic painting and illustration, The pieces were created by KHS students Draven Stark, Lauren O’Shey, Olivia Williams, Natalie Baum, Alice Benedict, Kylee Hoard, Sky Williamson and Raylee Muff.
