KHS students selected for 2025 Iowa All-State Show Choir

Keokuk High School students have been selected for the 2025 Iowa Choral Directors Association All-State Show Choir.

The students chosen include Paxson Dray, Carter Killoren, Liam Martin, Darby Tackes, Violet Shead and Olivia Claus. They will represent Keokuk at the Sixth Annual Iowa All-State Show Choir Festival on July 18–21 at Central College in Pella, Iowa.

“Being selected for the All-State Show Choir is an incredible honor and a testament to these students’ hard work, talent, and dedication to vocal music,” Jason Woodley, KHS vocal music director, said. “We are proud of our students and can’t wait to see them shine on stage as part of this elite ensemble.”

The 2025 All-State experience will feature top singers and dancers from across the state under the direction of Brian Johnson, of Papillion La Vista South High School, and choreography by Tori Brindis.
