Clint Wray, Lacy Ames, LeAnn Clifford and Bonnie Peevler were sworn in after the Nov. 4 election to the Keokuk School Board by district staff member Heidi Harness during the Organization Meeting of the 2025-26 school board. Lacy Ames nominated Clint Wray as the school board president and he was approved via a board vote with all in favor. Wray was then sworn in as the 2025-26 school board president for the second consecutive school year. As the newly elected president, he presided over the remainder of the meeting.
Board member Lori Mendenhall nominated Peevler as vice president and the board voted unanimously to elect her and she was then sworn in by Wray. Harness was nominated and elected as board secretary and treasurer and sworn in.
“Here’s to a great year,” Wray said enthusiastically. Dr. Kathy Dinger, KCSD superintendent, added “with great continuity.”
The board additionally voted on board committee membership with review of current membership and members elected to self nominate, largely remaining on their current committees.
