We are Team Rita! Rita Kinkeade, known as Miss Rita to the students, is a long-time bus aide with the district. She said she is going through chemo treatments and her Bus Garage family joined together in unity to show their support.
Rita said, “everybody is sitting beside me, behind me and with me while I’m going through treatments and it is going well.”
“We all wish Rita the best and a speedy recovery, she is an invaluable part of the KCSD Transportation Department and the kids all love Miss Rita.” Transportation Director Dave Grogan said.
