The Keokuk Board of Education nominated and appointed several positions at the regular board meeting on Nov. 18 at the Collaboration Center, 500 N. 20th Street.
Current board president, Clint Wray, was nominated and appointed to continue as president. The current board vice president, Laurie Mendenhall, was nominated and appointed to continue as vice president and the current board secretary, Heidi Harness, was appointed to continue as secretary.
The board also reviewed and finalized committee commitments. Overall, the board is responsible for determining policies, setting the budget, and maintaining standards of excellence in education on behalf of the community.
