The Keokuk Community School Foundation is once again offering multiple scholarships to 2026 graduates of Keokuk High School as well as one for a former graduate.
KHS graduates who intend to continue their education at the collegiate level, as well as KHS alumni, can apply for the available scholarships. Scholarships will be granted to individuals based on their motivation to learn, personal character, extracurricular activities, evidence of work commitment, community involvement, and academic record, along with scholarship specific criteria. Financial need may also be considered.
The deadline for applications for 2026 graduates is April 6, 2026 and the scholarships will be awarded at the KHS Awards Ceremony in the Spring.
The scholarship available to KHS alumni is the Dr. Bill and Jody Cameron Education Scholarship, which is a $2,500 scholarship, which is available to former students that were KHS graduates and are now education majors and had to have completed 1-2 years of post-secondary education.
KCSF is a not-for-profit organization chartered in 1990 and was established to help meet the growing financial needs of the Keokuk Community School District. The Foundation is managed by a board of directors consisting of local volunteers, including liaison members from the School Board and the administrative team.
Current students were notified of the application and deadline previously via ParentSquare/StudentSquare, the KCSD communication app, and at KHS. Students must apply through their StudentSquare account and alumni interested in applying for the Cameron Scholarship, must first provide a personal email address to sign-up for a guest ParentSquare account using the contact info at keokukschools.org/district/keokuk-community-school-foundation. The link to apply on this webpage will work once a guest account is created in ParentSquare.
