The KHS Science Department has been awarded a $1,000 grant for the Nightmare on Washington Street Project that the department hosts for Halloween! Kim Pfeiferling, a KHS science teacher, accepted the grant along with 32 other winners in the region at a Keokuk Area Community Foundation and Lee County Youth Services, Inc., grant reception on Nov. 7.
