The Keokuk Community School District plans to open a new art gallery in Fall 2026 that will feature student work and be organized by the Keokuk High School Art Department. The new Art Gallery will be housed in the same building as the Collaboration Center in the Central Office at 420 N. 17th Street in Keokuk.
To create this new art gallery in an open space in the new Central Office building, the Art Department is hosting a fundraiser for display items, such as frames, pedestals and other presentation equipment, according to Leo Clark, KHS Art Teacher, explained. According to the fundraiser details, a contribution of $250-$1,000 (or in-kind support) would directly fund essential display materials and help launch the gallery at a high standard. The sponsorship levels include Platinum Sponsorship ($1,000+), which will include a prominent logo or name display in the gallery and recognition at all events and in all materials; Gold Sponsorship ($500-999), which includes featured name display in gallery with event recognition; Silver Sponsor ($250-499), with a name listed on the sponsor display; and Community Sponsor (up to $249), with a name included in the sponsor recognition list.
To donate, please contact KHS instructor Leo Clark at leo.clark@keokukschools.or or parents/guardians can also send direct messages via the KHS ParentSquare.
