Based on several considerations, a calendar was approved at a recent meeting of the Keokuk Community School District Board of Education. The 2026-2027 school calendar, with Winter and Spring breaks was approved. The following dates of note are:
- Student Start Date: Monday, Aug. 24, 2026
- Winter Break: Dec. 21, 2026-Jan. 4, 2027
- End of First Semester: Friday, Jan. 15, 2027
- Spring Break: March 15-March 19, 2027
- Graduation: Sunday, May 23, 2027
- Last Day of School: Friday, May 28, 2027
The early release days will continue to be on Fridays. A preschool-specific calendar and KCSD-branded calendar with spotlights will be uploaded soon.
