KHS iJag students ‘Pie It Forward’ to support Keokuk Homeless Alliance

Recently we had a fun-filled assembly where several teachers voluntarily took a pie in the face for a good cause! As part of iJag’s Ideas to Impact Project, students were given the task of identifying something in the community that is not equitable and they needed to create a campaign to do something about it. Then the Pie It Forward team raised money by inviting students to pay to pie teachers in the face. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Keokuk Homeless Alliance.
“Shout out to Chrissy Belknap and Keylee Schneider for leading such an awesome project and finding a creative way to raise awareness and make a real impact in our community,” shared Melissa Stevens, KHS iJag instructor.
