The first class of Lee County CEO students are getting ready to wrap up their first semester in a big holiday bow with two seasonal themed events, Christmas Trivia on Dec. 3 and a Winter Vendor Show on Dec. 15.
The Christmas Trivia Night is from 5:30-7 p.m. on Dec. 3 and individual participants will pay $10 and teams up to six will pay $50 to participate. Participants can bring snacks and there is no alcohol allowed. There is no admission fee for the Winter Vendor Show on Dec. 15 and it will be held from 12:30-6 p.m. Open alcohol is prohibited. Both events are open to the public and will be held at the Lee County Economic Development building at 2495 280th Street, in Montrose, Iowa.
Lee County CEO includes students from Keokuk High School, Central Lee High School and Fort Madison High School this year and is additionally open to students from Holy Trinity Catholic Schools. Funds raised from events will be used as investments in the CEO student-run businesses for class.
