The Keokuk Middle School FFA chapter has received a grant for $15,000 from the Farm Credit Services and a $1,000 grant from the Maschhoffs Youth & Ag Education Grant to support the students.
“We are incredibly grateful to receive a generous $15,000 grant from Farm Credit Services to support the Keokuk Middle School FFA,” Paige Martin, KMS teacher and FFA advisor who applied for the grants, said. “We are so thankful to Farm Credit Services for investing in our students and supporting the future of agriculture.”
Additionally, the KMS FFA chapter also received $1,000 through the Maschhoffs Youth & Ag Education Grant.
The grant funding will help support the FFA members with competition fees and FFA paraphernalia, including jackets, ties, and scarves, giving more students the opportunity to participate and represent Keokuk FFA. It will also help provide students with meaningful FFA experiences and opportunities throughout the year.
