Unit 1 a school bus belonging to Keokuk Community School District was traveling southbound on Argyle Rd north of 357th Street in Lee County Iowa. Unit 1 entered the west shoulder causing a weight shift. The driver attempted to regain control of the vehicle by steering left. The vehicle crossed both travel portions of the roadway before running off the road to the left. Upon entering the east ditch, Unit 1 began to roll and came in contact with an embankment.
The collision remains under investigation.
